Our Sires
Our foundation sire, imported from Serbia — OFA Excellent hips and the sire of our planned late-2026 breedings with Talya and Hope.
"Colt"
Colt is not Raven. Where she greets every visitor and asks for attention, Colt is reserved and slow to trust. Strangers get a long look and a wait-and-see — he sizes you up before he decides. Once you're inside the family circle, you'll get a brief check-in, a pet on the head, and then he'll go lay down and observe.
Every time we let him out, he patrols the property before any of the other dogs get the chance. He looks the part. He sounds the part. He is the dog the breed was originally built for: watchful, self-assured, and not quick to give friendship away.
The AKC breed standard describes a Rottweiler as "a calm, confident and courageous dog with a self-assured aloofness that does not lend itself to immediate and indiscriminate friendships." Raven shows the calm and confident half. Colt is the self-assured aloofness — measured, watchful, and unmistakably correct for the breed.
A four-generation pedigree certified by the American Kennel Club, with verified championship titles in every direction.

This pairing was researched, not random. We chose Colt for Raven because their pedigrees share the same proven champion bloodlines — meaning the puppies they produced (our March 2026 litter) inherited those traits from both sides, not just one. Four important ancestors appear in both dogs' four-generation pedigrees:
| Shared Ancestor | In Colt's Pedigree | In Raven's Pedigree |
|---|---|---|
| TK's New Yorker | Grandsire | Grandsire |
| Dzomba V.Haus Drazic | Great-grandsire | Great-grandsire |
| Arlos Majestic Rott | Great-great-grandsire | Great-great-grandsire |
| Hero von der Tonberger Höhe | Great-great-grandsire | Great-grandsire |
What this means in plain terms: When the same proven champion appears on both sides of a puppy's pedigree, those traits — correct structure, sound joints, calm temperament — are reinforced rather than diluted. That is why pedigrees like these are studied carefully before any breeding decision is made. It is also why we test every dog in our program for hips, elbows, and JLPP before any breeding takes place — concentrated bloodlines reward careful selection and punish carelessness, and we will step away from a pairing the moment health testing tells us to. The shared ancestors above are the foundation we are deliberately building on.

Colt is available at stud to approved females. The stud fee is $2,500, or first pick of the litter by arrangement — final terms are set after we review the female’s pedigree and health clearances.
We ask every dam owner for the same documentation we hold our own dogs to: hip and elbow evaluations (OFA or the European equivalent) and JLPP status. Colt is OFA Excellent hips, Normal elbows, and JLPP Clear — his certificates are posted below.
